Nora enjoyed meeting her cousin Joshua for the first time when he and Aunt Laura and Uncle Jeff stopped on their way home from Ohio. We had a short, but great visit.
We enjoyed dinner with the Spiegel family yesterday. Taytem loved the dogs, the dogs loved Taytem, and the rest of us had fun, too! Nora showed off her new walking skill, too.

These are a few pictures from Nora's 2-day First Birthday Extravagansa! :-) We met Grandma and Grandpa Wood, Grandma Genter (Grandpa Genter had to work) and Great-Aunt Mary at Starved Rock State Park for lots of fun. Nora enjoyed her first cake, first swim, and first zoo, and we all enjoyed spending time together. We had beautiful weather the whole time, and we were all very tired when we got home.

This picture is a few days old, but I thought it was cute (of course!) Nora climbed into the pan (and got it out of the cupboard) all on her own! Nora appears to be getting 3 new teeth at the same time, so we've had kind of a rough day! We're looking forward to her birthday Friday--the year has gone so fast!
